The Millstone has added a donation button to the website

June 4 will be the first anniversary of the launch of the Millstone. We appreciate all the support we have received. Thank you. The costs of running the Millstone are modest, but there are costs – website, office supplies, fees for access to information requests and the like. We earn no income and  accept, free of charge, advertisements and announcements for charities and non-profits as well as for classified ads. All of our personnel are volunteers.

The costs of publishing the Millstone are currently being covered by the publisher, but if our readers would like to donate to help us cover these costs, any contribution would be much appreciated. Please note, the Millstone is not a charity, but it was launched as a public service to the communities of Mississippi Mills and Carleton Place by the Almonte Press Club.
