Home » The Billboard » 2nd annual Seniors’ Expo 2012The Almonte Baptist Church, Mills Community Support and the Alzheimer Society of Lanark County are planning the 2nd Annual Seniors’ Expo 2012 on Thursday, September 13. The Seniors’ Expo is a “showcase of services” for people aged 50+ and caregivers.
Last year this event was a great success with over 33 exhibitors and approximately 300 attendees. In order to accommodate additional exhibitors this year we are moving to bigger premises. Our new venue is the ground floor of the Almonte Community Center, 182 Bridge Street. The Community Center is an accessible building with plenty of free
parking.
A light lunch will be available for a nominal fee between 11:30 am-1:00 pm.
Expo hours will be 9:30 am-3:00 pm. The Community Center is an accessible building with plenty of free parking.
Door prizes will be drawn throughout the day.
Short workshops on various topics will also be presented throughout the day.
