Jack Reacher’s Rules by Lee Child – book review

For the diehard Lee Child fan, this may be a good stocking stuffer at Christmas. Jack Reacher, a Lee Child creation, is a former U.S. Military policeman who mysteriously crops up in connection with murders  terrorist threats and other breaches of the law. He is tough and he is principled and he hits back. This compendium of “rules” by which he lives, could equally be the “rules” of other tough guy heroes, but the name Jack Reacher and Lee Child ensure a broad audience. It is a bit obvious, but Child stays true to the character of his character and the book is entertaining, not, however, to be confused with one of his fine novels.
