For the Birds: Spring Migration

Hope you are enjoying the arrival of Spring!  As I see the snow falling outside today I wonder if Spring is just a nice thought!

Again, I realize it has been a long while since I have last posted.  We have been trying to sell our home and were successful!  Not only are the birds moving, so are we!  We will be migrating to Almonte in the middle of April.  I am very excited.  As soon as we take possession of the house, I will be setting up feeding stations in the yard for optimum bird traffic and hopefully spot some of our spring & summer vacationers!

Please enjoy the following photographs I have taken in the last month or so. One of my favourite captures is below, of a Bald Eagle.  I spotted him in Pakenham, just up the road from my place at a friend’s hunting camp.  He sees Bald Eagles and Golden Eagles all winter long!

See you in April!
