St. George’s Anglican Church in Clayton welcomes Valley Voices Community Choir

Valley voicesThe people of St. George’s Anglican Church in Clayton are pleased to be welcoming The Valley Voices Community Choir to perform a concert on Sunday afternoon, May 24th, 2015 at 2pm.

The Valley Voices Community Choir consists of 25 local singers who were brought together and are directed by Becky Schweizer. They have been blending their voices for 11 years, performing for various charities, at The Puppets Up Festival and for fund-raisers for The Textile Museum where they practice. The music choices are an electric mix of secular music including The Age of Aquarius, a medley from Mary Poppins, Shenendoah and a medley from Disney’s The Princess and The Frog.

St. George’s has been welcoming the community into their beautiful little church since 1901 and this is another event they are pleased to host in their mission of hospitality and outreach. Refreshments will be served following the concert. The free will offering will be donated to The Almonte General Hospital.

The Valley Voices and St. George’s look forward to seeing you and combining their talents for the benefit of our local hospital.
