Day trip to Mer Bleue Bog, May 30

On Wednesday, May 30 Our Retired…Not Expired walking group is heading out from 10 am to 2:30 pm (approx) to visit Mer Bleue Bog.

This day trip gives you a unique opportunity to see a 7,700-year-old northern boreal landscape, and the 2nd largest bog in southern Ontario! The bog provides habitat for many species of regionally rare and significant plants, birds and other wildlife. Our guides Allan Goddard and Neil Carleton, both experienced field naturalists, will accompany the group.

Bus transportation on our fully accessible bus AND picnic lunch (weather permitting) included!

The Retired…Not Expired walking group meets on the last Wednesday of every month from spring through fall, and visits a new and different venue each time.
