Oliver Twist is a classic tale of a boy who only wanted to know his family.
Orphaned after his mother’s death at child birth, Oliver finds himself in a workhouse under the care of Mr. Bumble, being over-worked and under-fed.  After drawing lots, the desperately hungry boys send Oliver, bowl in hand, to beg Mr. Bumble for more gruel with his famous request: “Please, sir, I want some more.”
Adventures ensue, leading Oliver to an abusive coffin maker, running away to London, finding refuge with a band of thieves, being taken in by a wonderful gentleman by the name of Mr. Brownlow and finally finding a family.
