Location: Almonte Home Furniture
Date: 21 Oct 2015 6:00 PM EDT

While our project for the Mill Street Makeover is just beginning, downtown Kingston has been undergoing construction for many years. To give us some insight into what to expect over the next few years in downtown Almonte we have asked Rob Tamblyn from the Kingston BIA to speak.

Rob Tamblyn has been the Development Manager for the Downtown Kingston! Business Improvement Area (BIA) since 2002. In this role, Rob is responsible for maximizing economic development opportunities by encouraging, supporting and initiating activities that are beneficial to downtown businesses and property owners. Rob manages all files and programs in the BIA’s portfolio that are related to Downtown Development, Member Services and Clean and Safe activities. He has been involved with the reconstruction and revitalization of the downtown core since it began in 2005, and is currently in the process of planning and preparing for Big Dig 3, slated to commence in January 2016.

Please join us to listen and learn from Rob about how businesses can prepare and prosper during the redevelopment of downtown Almonte.

Our host for the event is Almonte Home Furniture owned by  Adrien and Robin Borrowman located at 476 Ottawa Street, Almonte, ON.
