Mississippi Mills Public Library to host another travelogue series

The Mississippi Mills Public Library will be hosting another travelogue series for the 2015/16 season. Our first travelogue will take place on Thursday, November 12th at 7pm in the meeting room at the Almonte Branch Library. Rod Windover will share his stories from his October 2013 Everest Base Camp trek. He has some remarkable photographs of the Himalaya, and can also offer some practical advice on how to make any trip to these snow-capped sentinels a memorable one. Even those not interested in peak bagging have discovered that Nepal is ideal for spectacular trekking.

Rod is an author, teacher, and consultant specializing in support for hosting major events in the public sector. He is an avid outdoorsman who likes to mountain bike, kayak and canoe. He practices yoga regularly and believes in the power of living in the moment. You can learn more about Rod at www.rodwindover.ca .

If you have ever dreamed of going to see this unparalleled beauty firsthand, or even just felt its mythical allure, take the time to join us on November 12th for the first of the 2015/16 Travelogue series.
