Don’t miss this heart-warming film with a superb musical score on Sunday, October 18.

On October 18 Movies on the Mississippi is screening Boychoir, featuring newcomer Garrett Wareing as an angry youngster who can sing like an angel. Orphaned after his mother is killed in a car accident, Stet ends up boarding at a choir school on the US East Coast. Stet finds himself at odds with Choirmaster Carvelle (Dustin Hoffman), who recognizes something special in Stet, and pushes the boy to put his troubled soul into the music. Supported by a star-studded cast that includes Josh Lucas, Eddie Izzard, Debra Winger, and Kathy Bates.
