Make rope from bark, or a birdhouse from felt?

You can learn how to do these and a lot of other cool things at Almonte Fibrefest’s first-ever series of hands-on textile art workshops.

Taking place between September 8-10 at the Almonte Arena and the Textile Museum, the workshops will be conducted by experts in a wide range of textile arts, from weaving and knitting to rope-making, wet-felting and rug-hooking. Registration and supply fees apply.

You can reserve your spot online through the Textile Museum’s website. Workshops are starting to fill up, so book now.
