New Herb Garden owners hold Mother’s Day Brunch

I would like to take the opportunity to introduce myself.

My name is Katey Gervais. My husband Nathan and I are the new owners of the Herb Garden on Upper Dwyer Hill Road.

As you may be aware, George and Gerry Bedard retired from the Herb Garden in the fall of 2017. So this growing season the Herb Garden will re-open May 12 with new owners. We hope you will visit us and introduce yourself so that we can get to know you better.

We have already been meeting people who come by to share their many happy memories at the Herb Garden and it had made us feel so proud to be here and welcomed into the community.

This Spring we are trying some new plant varieties as well as all the favourites. We are most excited to sell a selection of hot peppers and other unique and hard to find plants. We are looking forward to introducing a herb of the month, with free recipe cards using the featured herb.

Also new for 2018 you may notice we are adding a bit of our own personality to some of the Herb Garden branding pieces such as a new logo and website herbgarden.ca

Despite the noted changes, the Herb Garden will continue to function in much the same way. We are pleased to continue the tradition of the annual Mothers day brunch this year on May 13th.

We thank you for your continued support and look forward to seeing you later this season as we sow the seeds for new growth.
