Still time to sign up for a painting workshop at Appleton Studio!
‘Spring into painting’ this month by attending a painting workshop at Appleton Studio. The 2-day workshops are for adults with with at least a bit of previous painting experience. We’ll be working in acrylics, but participants could also use water-soluble oils.
Your instructor, Adrian Baker, has been painting and exhibiting her work professionally since 1980, as well as working as a portraitist, muralist and art teacher. Her work has been featured in solo and juried exhibitions in galleries across Canada and the US.
Many people come to Appleton Studio classes year after year. It’s a friendly atmosphere where you learn a lot and enjoy the feedback from fellow artists. The studio, in the picturesque village of Appleton, is a bright space with lots of natural light, and has floor to ceiling windows so you get a great view of the Mississippi River!
There are two different workshops to chose from. The first is called “Painting Trees & Foliage” , and the second is “What colour is Water”.
The first ‘Tree’ workshop is Tuesday & Wednesday, April 24th & 25th. The first ‘Water’ workshop is Tuesday & Wednesday, May 1st & 2nd. (Each 2-day workshop may be offered twice, depending on the number of participants that sign up). The cost for each workshop is $150.
