Mark Indigenous Peoples Day at St. Paul’s, June 24

National Indigenous Peoples Day Celebration

This is an invitation to all members of the Mississippi Mills community to participate in a service of reconciliation and healing, employing traditional Indigenous smudging practices and prayers, in concert with the Anglican tradition.

Sunday, June 24th, 10:30 to 12:30 at St. Paul’s Anglican Church, Almonte

Outdoor Smudging Ceremony and Teaching with Larry Langlois, member Huron/Wendat Nation

Simple indoor service with Irene Louttit Barbeau, Cree Heritage and co-founder Children of Shingwauk Alumni and Margaret Pachanos Lemaire, Cree Heritage and co-founder of All My Relations, Anglican Diocese

Outdoor Reception:  Opportunity to meet and chat with our Indigenous guests
