‘Car or Ca$h’ draw for Almonte and CP hospitals, October 5

Car or Ca$h for Health Care Grand Prize Draw, Friday, Oct. 5 at the Civitan Hall to feature Eddy & the Stingrays

The Grand Prize Draw for the Car or Ca$h for Health Care raffle will take place on Friday, Oct. 5 from 5 – 9 p.m. at the Almonte Civitan.  The actual draw for the 1967 convertible Firebird or $30,000 will happen at 8 p.m.

Before and after the draw, the party will be rounded out by a cash BBQ and bar, other vintage cars on display and great music provided by Eddy and the Stingrays.

The Car or Ca$h for Health Care raffle is jointly sponsored by the Carleton Place and District Memorial Hospital Foundation and the Almonte General Hospital Fairview Manor Foundation.  All proceeds from the sale of tickets will benefit the two hospitals equally and will be used to purchase replacement and new equipment.

The grand prize, a fully restored 1967 Firebird convertible, was donated by Keith Bean of Bean Chevrolet, Buick, GMC.  The winner may accept the classic car or $30,000 cash.

Raffle tickets are on sale at Bean Chevrolet, Buick, GMC in Carleton Place, at either hospital or can be ordered online at: www.facebook.come/carorcashforhealthcare

Entrance for the Grand Prize Draw party is $10 at the door (and show your ticket) or $25 which gets you a raffle ticket.  Raffle tickets will be on sale until approximately 7:45 p.m.
