Library to host Camino Santiago travelogue, Februrary 7

Join us at Mississippi Mills Public Library for a Travelogue with David Garcia Thursday February 7th at 7 p.m. in the Almonte Branch Meeting Room.

This event is free.

Among the pilgrimage routes to Santiago in Spain, some are more popular, some more spectacular and some easier. Camino de la Plata is a bit more challenging due to distance, density of population and facilities, and weather. But all of these can be overcome by planning and the result is a Camino walk with deep rewards and more spiritual content.

David will describe the route in the normal sequence, and lightly touch on side aspects such as peculiar personalities, and competing influences. If there is time and interest, he will address any questions about gear and range of accommodations.
