The Elizabeth Kelly Library Foundation is accepting applications for a position on its Board of Directors.
The Foundation’s mission — to support life-long learning and the continuing enjoyment of literary and literacy pursuits, primarily through the combined libraries of Mississippi Mills–is carried out by its Board. The Foundation Board provides oversight, leadership, direction and support for the important task of stewarding and awarding funds to community charities.
To complement existing skills on the Board, we are recruiting a Director with a strong background in finance and investment, along with an appreciation of the value of literacy, in all of its forms. This Director may participate in the management of the Foundation’s finances and investments. Previous experience as a member of a board or in a senior leadership role is an asset.
Interested candidates are invited to send a resume and cover letter by April 15, 2019 outlining their qualifications to firstname.lastname@example.org. Please note that this a volunteer board. We thank all who apply, but only those to be interviewed will be notified.
