Happy Monday!

I finally managed to get out to search for birds on the property this week!

On Friday I found myself without my camera and a great photo opportunity came up on Cedar Hill Side road. There were about a dozen Turkey Vultures, on fence posts as well as a barn roof.  It was quite the sight to behold!

On my walk the other day, I heard a flock of Blue Jays making quite the noise. It turns out they were exposing the whereabouts of what I believe was a Cooper’s Hawk.  They flushed it out of the bush, and it flew off and landing on a dead tree in the swamp. I did manage a photo.  It is cropped heavily as it flew quite a distance before it landed.

Please enjoy my photos from this past week.

Have a super week of Feathers Wings and Beaks! 🙂
