Despite his busy schedule preparing to take office, Mayor-elect Shaun McLaughlin still found time to support our local library. Adam Liddle added extra muscle transporting over 100 boxes of donated books for the hugely successful Library book sale on Saturday.
The Board of the Mississippi Mills Public Library hosted their annual Book Sale Fund Raiser on November 29th, and it turned out to be the best ever. Thousands of excellent books were on sale to raise funds for the DVD collection at the Library and many people turned out to take advantage of the great sale. There are still some wonderful books available and so the sale will continue through the week, ending on Saturday, December 6th from 10am-2pm.
Thanks to everyone who generously donated so many excellent books.
