blair paul picPlease join Blair Paul for a vernissage for an exhibition called “Nature Speaks” to be held on June 6th, 7-9 pm, 2015. The exhibit will run to June 30th at the Mill of Kintail, Mississippi Mills, (Almonte), Ontario.

Everyone is welcome.

“The natural beauty of rural Lanark County is presented in this exhibition, including several paintings based on scenes near The Mill of Kintail”.

“I am simply the artist, the one who extracts and distills visions, dreams, fears, and ideas; not the trained analyst. As the artist, I am a walking recording device, constantly seeing, sensing, feeling what goes on around me. My creations attempt to describe these feelings in some tangible form. Just what form, I am never quite certain.”

“I truly appreciate the peace and tranquility of this area, as did Dr. Robert Tait McKenzie and his wife Ethel”. (Blair Paul)

Paintings will be sold by SILENT AUCTION either at the Mill of Kintail or online through

40% of the proceeds are being donated by Mr. Paul  to the new  “Dr. Robert Tait McKenzie Sculpture Fund”.

Blair Paul is part of an Almonte based committee which is working towards creating a life size bronze statue of Dr. McKenzie. This is a tribute to the internationally acclaimed Dr. McKenzie who was also a life long friend of Dr. James Naismith.  Mr. Paul believes it to be quite amazing that two such prominent Canadians came from the same area.We all need to be proud of this.

Mr. Paul will be  offering summer weekend PAINTING WORKSHOPS at The Mill of Kintail.

July 11-12, Aug. 15-16, and Sept.5-6.
