CBC radio and television visited the Almonte Press Club today to record a feature item on the Millstone and went on to visit Mill Street and the Almonte Chamber of Commerce to examine the resurgence of our Mill Street shopping and restaurant scene. Said CBC reporter Julie Ireton, "Almonte is a sparking place". The radio item will air on Ottawa morning on Monday July 25. The TV report will air on CBC news Ottawa at 5, 5:30 and 6. on the same day.
