Feel the season in the air; it is time to get ready for

 Christmas Caroling

Begins on Thursday November 23th. 7:00-8:00 pm weekly for 5 weeks. The last week is Caroling on the Solstice night.

Musicworks is organizing a choral group to practice both traditional and contemporary holiday favorite carols to perform in the community. This group of all ages, men very welcome, will be learning more about choral singing and working together for four weeks before going out to the community on the 5th week, to perform for both local care homes and private homes of those who the group feels would best appreciate this wonderful tradition of bringing the music of Christmas to the people. The evening will wrap up with cocoa and treats back at Musicworks on December 21st. the Solstice.

Practices will be facilitated by Nina Lockridge, a vocal instructor at Musicworks as well as a member of the Valley Voices, Kanata Choral Society and other choirs. She has performed in St. Patrick’s Cathedral in Ireland and Carnegie Hall in New York City. Practices will be held at Mississippi Mills Musicworks on Thursdays from 7-8pm weekly. All ages welcome with discretion regarding the attention span of younger members.
