As of about 11:55 this morning Mississippi Mills firefighters were arriving on the scene of a fire at a property on County Road 29 just outside Almonte. The fire seemed to be in an outbuilding near the house.
UPDATE: According to comments on our Facebook page, the owner is fine and the house was saved. Several area fire departments turned out to fight the blaze.
