Happy Thursday to you & Happy Belated Thanksgiving!

You might have noticed I am a few days late in posting.  I just got a new job and I haven’t had time to hike, OR snap photos!  I am thinking that I will be posting every other week, or sooner if I have something to share. Please keep posted!

Just this morning I noticed, out of the bathroom window, a lot of bird activity.  There were at least a dozen White-Crowned Sparrows out there filling themselves up on the weed seeds.  I managed to capture a couple of photos of the juvenile White-Crowned Sparrow.

Yesterday as I was sitting in my living room a small bird hit the window.  I ran outside to see if it was alright and found a Nashville Warbler sitting on the ground.  (Photo below)  I monitored him for while and the last time I checked on him, he was gone. Another positive highlight, he was a lifer for me!

Also, I thought I would share a couple of re-edited photos that I had snapped of a male Pileated Woodpecker in the heart of Arnprior, back in 2011.  And I thought I would add a few ‘Fall’ Photos for your enjoyment.

Have a couple of wonderful weeks, of Feathers, Wings & Beaks!

~Cheryl
