The Almonte General Hospital Volunteer Services Group recently donated $4,000 from the Hospital Gift Shop to the Almonte General Hospital/Fairview Manor Foundation to purchase a vital signs monitor. Participating in the presentation were, above left, from left, Peggy Wallace, Rita Munro, Volunteer Services Group Treasurer John Black, J. C. Empey, Cheryl Barr and Volunteer Services Group President Cheryl Moore. Above right, members of the Fairview Manor Auxiliary are shown at an event last December, where they celebrated their donation, which also helped to purchase a vital signs monitor.
