Yesterday marked the start of “pitch-In week’ in Mississippi Mills — a chance for you to give a little something back to the community by donating your time to cleaning up town streets, parks and rural roads. Bags for trash collections are available at locations throughout the area (see below.)
On Saturday April 26 you’re invited to a cleaning blitz of downtown Almonte, between 9 a.m. and noon.
This is a good opportunity to meet your neighbours while doing some good for Mississippi Mills. We hope to see you out for Pitch-In Week.
