Great news for everyone who loves donuts. Almonte’s Healthy Food Technology (hft) donut shop will be operating 6 days a week, starting Monday, June 1st. They are doing research for a company and need to be at the shop anyway, so they decided they would sell donuts 6 days a week and this may create opportunity for people who would like to pick up donuts and take them to work during the week, or just stop by for a donut during the week. Plus they will soon be selling coffee soon!
They have also expanded the entrance and now have a cafe set up where you can sit and have a donut or two. They knocked down a wall, brought in some tables and chairs, will have a fridge with cold drinks and they have a cold case for some of the donuts.
They are coming out with new varieties of donuts. Cinnamon/sugar/strawberry, whole wheat, and retro 70’s donuts as in French Vanilla,French Chocolate, Wedge blueberry/strawberry, and of course we cannot forget the jam buster. This is just a few new ones, there will be more to choose from. Drop by and try their new donuts.
National Donut Day is Friday June 5th. Stop by, they are giving each person
a free donut of your choice.
Hours of operation will be: Monday – Thursday 6AM – 3PM, Friday 6AM – 4PM Saturday 8AM – 3PM.
