This stunning photo above of a hockey rink created on the ice of the upper arm of the Mississippi River above Coleman’s Island was recently featured on CTV as photo of the day. The photo was taken by Bram Karp, an of Almonte resident who, along with Jason Hall helps create and maintain the rink and who uses it with friends for Saturday night hockey games.
