The Hub in Almonte recently made a donation of $2,500 to purchase a chair for the Medical/Surgical Department at Almonte General Hospital. Hospital CEO Mary Wilson Trider, left, accepts the cheque from Hub representative Glenda Jones. The chair will be used by in patients in the Medical-Surgical Unit. As well, patients who come in for transfusions and infusions will be able to sit up in a chair instead of using a bed.
