A coalition of Mississippi Mills citizens has joined forces to plan an event aimed at protecting our historic riverscape and mill district. Their focus is the controversial Enerdu project, which would see the heritage heart of Almonte buried beneath concrete, fences and a huge new powerhouse. From the Save Our River Facebook page:

- 1:30 p.m. Food for first 300 walk participant
