A coalition of Mississippi Mills citizens has joined forces to plan an event aimed at protecting our historic riverscape and mill district. Their focus is the controversial Enerdu project, which would see the heritage heart of Almonte buried beneath concrete, fences and a huge new powerhouse. From the Save Our River Facebook page:

Like our river just the way it is? Let’s do our best to save it shall we?

Join us in Almonte for a PEACEFUL ASSEMBLY to raise awareness and show the world we care about saving it.
