We have about 1,400 people subscribed to the email version of the Millstone that goes out each evening.
And at least once a week someone reads an article and decides to say something about it to someone else — while also cc’ing me with their message.
Usually that’s innocuous enough: “Hey Bill, check this out, very interesting.”
At other times, though, I find myself in the midst of discussions that are clearly meant to be personal and private. Please be careful, when forwarding email versions of Millstone stories, not to include me in the conversation! Thanks.
(And no, I don’t save or even continue reading such emails — I delete them right away.)
