As a service to our community The Millstone has decided to accept advertising from local commercial ventures (no chains please) on a trial basis until September.
Until now, we have accepted classified ads and community notices from non-profits and charities, but we realize that citizens might like to know what is being offered by other members of this community. There will be no pop ups or ads surrounding news text. We will create a specific page for ads and will post them FREE OF CHARGE. We count on advertisers to provide their own copy. Ad copy should be e-mailed to millstoneeditor@bell.net.
Each ad must have an expiry date, that is, a date on which it may be taken down from the site. Any images must be in jpeg or gif format, as these are the only formats accepted by our server.
We shall reassess at the end of the summer. We should appreciate reader comments. We are here as a public service for you.
