We’re in that gloomy time of year for birders — those who work in the city at least — it’s dark when we leave for work and dark when we get home. This limits birding to weekends for now. I still did get a few shots this weekend though. Here’s what was in my yard yesterday and today:
- House Finches
- Chickadees
- American Goldfinches
- Mourning Doves
- Blue Jays
- Northern Cardinals
- Tree Sparrows
- White-Breasted Nuthatch
- Hairy Woodpecker
- Downy Woodpecker
- Dark-Eyed Juncos
