Union Hall, in the heart of maple syrup country, is once again celebrating the arrival of spring with its annual Pancake breakfast.
This year, home-made pancakes, topped with syrup from Fortune Farms, sausages or ham, baked beans or blueberry sauce, will be served from 8 a.m. until noon on Sunday, March 26. Fruit juice, Equator coffee and tea will also be on hand. Gluten-free pancakes are available on request.
Union Hall, located 1984 Wolf Grove Road at the corner of Tatlock Road, 8 km west of Almonte, was constructed in 1857 and has been used continuously since that time. The hall is owned by the local community and maintained by the work of volunteers, with support from the Municipality of Mississippi Mills.
