Perianne Jones qualified this morning for the Ladies’ Sprint Quarterfinal at the Olympics then skied to a 5th place finish in the quarterfinals. Her parents, Almonte residents Brad Jones and Judi Agnew watched the race on television at the home of their son and Perianne’s brother Kieran Jones. Perianne phoned her family immediately after the race and Kieran Jones talked about Perianne to CBC Ottawa morning host Hallie Cotnam after the race. He praised the support that Perianne has received from her community.
