In celebration of 31 years advising gardeners on CBC, the Puppets Up! International Puppet Festival presented Almonte resident Ed Lawrence with a caricature puppet made by the Puppets Up! Artistic Director Noreen Young. Noreen Young made the presentation in studio on the air. The presentation is made at minute 24 of the broadcast. Mr. Lawrence will be VIP Guest of Honour in the Puppets Up! parade. The annual Puppets Up! International Puppet Festival takes place in Almonte August 10-11,2013.
