Reader seeks info on his dad’s St. Paul’s choral connections

My father, Gordon Benjamin Thomas Hudson, was a member of The Pumpkin Blossom Quartet, four men, who also sang in the Almonte St. Paul’s Anglican Church Choir, from about 1907, when he moved to Almonte until about 1928, when he married.

He was the tenor voice. I do not know the names of the other three men, but one may have been a Jack Lodge. Apparently they sang at local events in and around The Valley. I am wondering if their names, or singing engagements, are recorded anywhere. My mother, Anna Laidlaw Hudson, told me she never heard the quartet sing… perhaps gadding around with a group of men didn’t seem fitting for this proper Scottish woman after they had eloped to Carleton Place where they were married in 1928.
