Watt’s Cooking? in Pakenham has been closed for a couple of months now, much to the chagrin of Mississippi Mills residents. Watt’s Cooking? served simple, delicious meals, great baking, and sold tasty jams and jellies. Unsuspecting patrons who arrive at the site are met with disappointment. The restaurant is no more.
The Millstone has been told that the owner and inspiration, Jodi Watt, simply found that she had no life outside the business. If she wasn’t serving clients, she was cooking and baking. She recently celebrated her retirement. We wish you well Jodi, but we join with the rest of your many fans in expressing our regrets.
