Riverfront 1903

Considering all the concern and subsequent ongoing construction presently underway, I thought your readers might like a look at what was taking place at the falls in the early years of the town.

This map by Andrew Bell is undated but at the bottom left is the imprint of a embossed legal stamp which reads “The Wylie Milling Company 1903”. The red structure was a log slide and of course, the railroad piers are clearly visible. The Young Bros. machine shop is now the Barley Mow.
