Brian Robinson sends this note and photo. This is a very interesting example of, I believe, a ‘leucistic’ bird — one affected by a loss of pigment that leaves parts of it white.
This Robin has been seen for the last couple of weeks in the White Tail Ridge Development north of Almonte.
