I’ve been seeing reports on Facebook of a house fire on Malcolm Street and I just tuned in to the police and fire scanner and heard a request to the Carleton Place fire department asking for backup.
According to online reports, no one in the home has been hurt but that is awaiting official confirmation.
Several people have reported hearing ‘explosions’ and then seeing a fast-moving fire.
I’ll update you as I hear more.
