Close to 80 donors took the time to view the 105 stones in the Circle of Life Garden on the front lawn of the Almonte General Hospital at a September 23 event to recognize supporters’ generous contributions.
A number of new stones were added to the Garden prior to the event.
The Circle of Life Garden is a wonderful way to honour or remember a loved one, by purchasing a stone for the garden path. The stones can be engraved with the name of the donor, and/or the names of loved ones being honoured or remembered.
Stones are placed in the walkway of the garden to recognize gifts of $1,000 each.
The Garden was created by Kevin and Jennifer Cooney of Cooney Construction and the stones were engraved by Chris and Margaret Loney of Kinkaid and Loney Monuments in Smiths Falls.
