Hub Hospice hires Allison Griffith as Coordinator of Volunteer Services

Hub Hospice LogoHub Hospice Palliative Care welcomes Allison Griffith R.N. as The Coordinator of Volunteer Services. Allison is a registered nurse with many years of experience as a Community Health Nurse and most recently as a Clinical Professor in the School of Nursing at the University of Ottawa. In her various roles Allison has worked with families and individuals across the life spectrum living with life threatening illness. She is committed to hospice care and supporting individuals and families in the community setting.

Through her own personal experience of caring for her mother at home and a sudden death experience in her immediate family she is aware of the joy of caring as well as the emotional and physical challenges.

Allison is pleased to be joining our dedicated board of directors and trained hospice volunteer visitors in providing support to families and individuals diagnosed with a life threatening or terminal illness.
