UNION HALL CRAFTS RETURN TO ALMONTE FARMERS’ MARKET

We are pleased to announce that Union Hall Crafts will be returning to the Almonte Farmers’ Market one last time this year, on Saturday, November 7 between 10:00 and 2:00, at the Almonte Library parking lot.  Drop in to our booth to learn about the historic hall, which is a landmark in the community which bears its name.

We will be selling hand-crafted items made by Union Hall volunteers. Beautifully crafted wooden items, such as cutting boards artfully fashioned from of a variety of hardwoods, will again be on offer.  Sewn items include one-of-a-kind yoga mat bags, tote bags, produce bags, cushions, place mats, aprons and tablecloths, all made from re-purposed materials.  Because both the materials and the labour have been donated, 100% of the purchase price of these items goes directly to the Union Hall’s Renovation Fund. Cash or cheques accepted. Strict COVID protocols will be in place.

The Union Hall Community Centre is a Registered Charity, owned and operated by the local community, and is maintained by volunteers with financial assistance from the Municipality of Mississippi Mills.
