On Tuesday Mississippi Mills town staff discovered a water main break on Mill Street across from the Post Office. The break affects the segment of water main between Brae Street and Almonte Street. The major leak was heard with detection equipment but has otherwise not surfaced. It discharged significant volumes of water beneath the road. The road was closed to repair the water main break and has now been reopened.
