Lanark County OPP Detachment
A 51 year old woman died today in a house fire on Kidd Road between Carleton Place and Smiths Falls. Police are investigating the fire which destroyed the house and involved both the Beckwith and Mississippi Mills Fire Departments. The woman was found at the house with no vital signs and was pronounced dead at the scene.
