Yard of the Week

This garden, owned by Jamie Roy and his partner, on the corner of Mitcheson and Wilkinson streets in Almonte, is a fairly new planting but looks well established.  The entrance in particular is welcoming with stone urns, conifers and ninebark flanking the walk to the door.  The gardens surrounding the home are planted with a diverse variety of perennials, shrubs and trees with different heights, textures and colours.  Close up inspection reveals interesting sempervivum, dwarf cypress and japanese maple.  All immaculately kept and mulched.
