Our beloved home for the last 26 years is now for sale. It’s time for us to move to a new chapter. We are looking forward to knowing someone will love the riverfront location and wildlife habitat as much as we have over the years.
Being steps to the bridge to overlook Blakeney Falls and walk the trails in the park is a wonderful perk! It’s only a 5 minute drive to the shops of Almonte.
We have lovingly restored and cared for the house over the years. Plus there is a great heated workshop/studio building and a sauna. We installed a heat pump last fall.
We expanded the garden that was planted when the house was built by the family that owned the village General Store. They retired here in the 1950s and Millie’s garden was renowned in the day. Their peonies and iris are still going strong! We have never used any chemicals in the yard so it’s safe for all beings!. This is such a charming location.
