LEONARD WILLIAM DRYNAN
1943~2026
It is with broken hearts to announce the sudden loss of Leonard Drynan, Sunday, August 23, 2026 at the Almonte General Hospital in his 83rd year.
Leonard was a loving husband to Edith (nee Larocque) and devoted father to Michael (Ashley) and Heather (Brent) and adored By his 6 grandchildren. He will forever be the superhero to his 13 great-grandchildren. He is survived by his wife of 59 years Edith (née Larocque). Brothers, Brian (Janet), Keith (Joy), Dorothy (Maurice), Elizabeth (James Deceased), Shirley (Dennie); predeceased by his parents, Gordon and Isabel (nee Stanley), and brothers Robert (survived by Gypsy) and Carl, sisters Marian (Keith), Linda (Tim), Leonard leaves behind a lifetime of love and memories.
A Celebration of Life will be held on October 4, 2026, 2:00pm – 5:00pm at the Almonte Civitan Club. At Leonard’s request there will be no visitation.
A special thank you to Dr. Turcotte and all the Staff in the Medical Surgical Unit at the Almonte General Hospital.
