Of Almonte, Ontario. At the age of 90.
Beloved husband for 67 years to Elizabeth (nee Ladouceur). Dear father of Clinton, Calvin (the late Penny), Milton (Debbie) and Karen Leroux (Jeff). Proud “Grampa” to 7 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Survived by his brothers Earl (Heather) and Carmen (Carol). Predeceased by his siblings Charlie, Clarence, Floyd and Verna. Survived by sister-in-law Rita (the late Floyd).
Donations in memory of George may be made to Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease Association or the Canadian Cancer Society.

A Graveside Service will be held at the Auld Kirk Cemetery on Monday September 21, 2026 at 2pm. Reception to follow at the Almonte Civitan Hall.
